Source Code Check-In

The Source Code Check-In app shows changeset and check-in details for the last 20 check-ins for your projects in scope . CA Agile Central offers source code connectors for Subversion, Perforce, Git, and Microsoft TFS. Generally, each of these connectors creates a relationship between a CA Agile Central work item and a source code check-in (or changeset) and creates a list of affected files (or changes).

Source Code Check-In

Features include:

  • URL fragments link directly to source code files. Each file is marked with the type of change: (A) for Addition, (D) for Deletion, (U) for Update and (M) for Modification (this depends on the convention used by your SCM software).
  • Work item IDs link to defects, user stories, and tasks.
  • Revisions link to changesets for Perforce and Git integrations.
  • If you have older versions of connectors installed, or if you are using a TFS connector, you will still see details for artifacts that have SCM information in their discussions.
